Do things go as IOTL in England? If so, I reeeally can’t see Henry marrying Mary - maybe as a second or third wife, but surely he would be married before then
Nope. Henry VIII dies of sweat in the 1520s, after James and Elizabeth are married. Henry of Austria seizes the chance and marries Mary. As he's now IX of England he can't exactly be the HRE, so his younger brother gets that instead

I think Hedwig and Mary swapping husbands would make more sense
it would have been the type of alliance, and Zapolya named Hedwig 'second son as his heir, but I can change it.
I can see Henry wanting his daughter to marry the son of his favorite sister but a Polish alliance might make more sense for France and it’s not like Duchess of Brittany would be considered an unsuitable position for an English princess
I think it’s unlikely that Mary would jeopardize her regency by remarrying before her son is of age (13 y/o for French kings) but given her otl actions it’s far from improbable
It is my idea too, and I'd love to see Mary Tudor as the Happy Duchess of Brittany
