DBWI: What if Steve Austin wasn't paralyzed?

Just got finished watching the IC title match at Summerslam 97 again and it got me thinking: What the hell would've happened if Owen didn't botch the Tombstone Piledriver? Would Austin have become a Hogan-level megastar in the WWF? Would Owen have gone over to WCW with the rest of the Harf Family after Montreal? Hell, would the WWF still be around today?

At least Austin not wrestling allowed him to focus on other things, and he was able to convince Pillman to get the help he needed, Brian admitted he was in a bad place at the time, and if he hadnt gone to rehab, he would have been dead by the end of 1997. BTW, do you think that most companies banning the tombstone was the right move? As long as it was done safely like the Undertaker did, there would be no problem.
