What, if any way, could you make (Or keep) the Liberal Party of Canada a dominant force in Western Canada, and the Tories dominant in central/eastern Canada?

In other words, swap the regional bases of support.

You might be able to do it in the 50s if you get the Liberals to build the cross-Canada pipeline to the East, and if you get the Liberals to back Mackenzie Valley too and get it built that's probably another boon. And then not instigate the NEP. If the Tories do the NEP then Alberta will come out against it into the arms of the Liberals for a generation.

That might not be enough though, I think there needs to be a structural change. If Alberta and Sask stay together as one province I think it might be more worth it to chase the votes there.
