Just a question, would history change at all if there is no Gasden purchase? Or if the "war of the maps" over Maine goes in more of a British favour, does anything change at all?

It would likely impact the make-up of the Congress, and the Maine border could still be a sore point....Arizona and New Mexico might be a single state
